Friday is here again:

  • Becky Lourey and Steve Kelley can agree on one thing: Mike Hatch has about 25%+ of the delegates locked up for the State convention. That is about the only thing that can be confirmed at this point.
  • The Anti-Choice crowd rejoices. Sweeping East Dakota legislation passes the House 81-50. Keith Ellison gets two Backbone Minnesota thumbs up for this quote: “Doctors have been shot and killed, now we’re going to add judges to this. It puts professionals who are doing their job at risk.”
  • 193 Days until we throw the bums out.
  • 1st CD Convention is tomorrow. If you are in the Mankato area I encourage you to stop on by. Why not watch the next Congressman from Southern Minnesota get a sweeping endorsement from the DFL?
  • Party on Congressman, Party on Garth.
  • Every Friday I will look out west for a good Democrat. This week’s pick Monica Lindeen. She is facing an uphill battle for US Congress in Montana.
  • Purple Pants?! Purple PANTS! (I’m not going to lie - I like the new Vikings uniform).
  • No CNN until you finish your homework.
  • I disagree with Robert Fitzgerald on his choice of party. But I am not going to lie this guy understands that the future of politics is in technology.

Enjoy the weekend - I will be around.
